Our Program meets on Sundays after the 9:00 am Mass (about 10:15 till noon.)
two Sundays a month (see schedule below)
This Year we begin our cycle again
YEAR 1: The Condescensions of God !!!
God, Who is awesome Love and creator of all things,
wants His people- that’s YOU and ME— to know Him.
He wants you and me to enter eternal relationship of love with Him– Father, Son and Spirit.
He wants YOU and ME to be ONE with Him now and ALWAYS!!
God reaches down to us to lift us up to Himself, to hold us close to His heart!
Journey with us this year and discover
the astonishing and tender ways Our Loving God reaches down to us–
the ways He condescends to us–
the ways He touches us where we are
to bring us into His eternal Life of unending LOVE!!
Schedule for 2016- 2017
All sessions begin after 9:00 am Mass (approximately 10:15) and end at noon.
This program consists of:
*Adult Catechisis (parents are expected to attend. teens and parish adults are warmly invited!!!)
* Grade by grade catechism
*Sacrament Preparation in Grades 2, 7 and 8
*Completion of some homestudy/ homework is expected
*Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
(for grades preK- K, ages 4 through 6)
DC3 will be using these texts:
Catechism of the Catholic Church
Chosen Jr High Program for grades 7 and 8
Faith and Life for Grades 2
Rosary Cenacle for Grade 1
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for grades PreK and K
Things to Know:
1. Registration form, baptism certificates for all students and tuition submitted by
September 23, late fees apply after September 30, 2016.
2. Our Pastor, Father Bill Ashbaugh, urges families to understand the FIRST expectation of our this program is attendance at Sunday Mass, every week (unless illness or travel prevents it.)
3.This program is a WHOLE FAMILY/ PARENT and STUDENT program. No student drop-offs will be allowed (except in urgent circumstances.) We expect families to demonstrate committed and consistent attendance. Sports and other recreational events are NOT acceptable reasons to be absent from classes.
