Welcome to the Latin class! Latin is a beautiful language. It is the basis of the English language and so it builds your child’s vocabulary and helps them learn English grammar. It also helps build good organization skills and memory habits… and so much more! Latin is FUN to learn! To help your child succeed in Latin, please make sure they are completing their @ 20 minute homework assignments Monday-Thursday. Doing flashcards at home with them is a GREAT way to help your child as well.
5th graders – Latina Christiana. Your child will usually have a worksheet due on Wednesday and one due on Friday. They will have a quiz every Friday.
6th graders – First Form Latin. The students will have homework due every Wednesday and Friday, usually 2 workbook pages due every Wednesday and two workbook pages due every Friday. They will have a quiz every Friday.
7th graders – Second Form Latin. Students will have homework due every Wednesday and Friday, usually 2 workbook pages due every Wednesday and two workbook pages due every Friday. They will have a quiz every Friday.
