Our upper school policy on late grades and absent work:
When students are absent, they are to get work from their teachers during recess or homeroom (before dismissal). If the assignment is not turned in within 7 days, it is considered late.
No late assignments are accepted.
Week of June 7
5/6th Grade Religion
This week we will be doing Lectio Divina.
5th Grade Math: This week we will be learning about Probability (Lesson 57), Estimating Arithmetic Answers (lesson 62) Decimal Parts of a Meter (lesson 65), And Fractions, Decimals and Percents. There will be no homework or test this week.
6th Grade Math: This week we will be learning about Volume of a Cylinder (lesson 120), Equivalent Division Problems (lesson 43), Rounding Decimal Numbers (51), and Probability and Chance (58). There will be no homework or test this week.
8th Grade Math: This week there will be a test on Ch. 14.
7th Grade Math: This week we will be learning about Two-Step Equations and Inequalities (lesson 93) and Estimating Angle Measures/Distributive Property with Algebraic Terms (lesson 96). There will be no quiz this week.
5th/6th Grade Nature Studies – Earth and Sun: This week we will be reviewing for and taking an Investigation 2 I-Check and reading in FOSS Science Resources.
7th/8th Grade Nature Studies – Heredity and Adaptation: This week we will be learning about inheriting traits, modeling heredity, and punnet squares.
