Athletics"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Athletics are designed to encourage competition with yourself and to promote an active lifestyle beyond the students school years.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The philosophy and goals of the athletic department are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To provide a well-planned and well-balanced program for all who desire to participate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To operate these athletic activities in harmony with the policies of the Michigan High School Athletic Association.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To develop and maintain high ideals, sportsmanship, and team play.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To encourage competition not only for the tangible reward but also for the intrinsic values that make athletic competition valuable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be concerned with the total development of the student and to promote athletics as an integral part of the educational program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A <a href=\"https:\/\/sta2.org\/school\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/09\/physical-form.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"18650\">Sports
