Our Mission

St. Thomas seeks to forge a diverse community of scholars, leaders and saints… We challenge students to grow intellectually, forming confident youth leaders grounded in virtue. We guide children to become friends of Jesus… and join our community’s rich tradition of proclaiming the Kingdom and bettering our world.

Welcome to St. Thomas!

Welcome to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School!  We have been living and learning about the Catholic faith in Ann Arbor since 1868.  As a parish and school, we have committed to bringing children closer to Christ and helping them to develop spiritually, academically, and socially for almost 150 years!

Our strong sense of community, in addition to offering an excellent education where diversity of learning styles is honored and where individual differences are respected, makes St. Thomas a very special place.  Educating the complete child is paramount to his/her success. These values begin here with a gifted, caring, and welcoming staff that shares a host of talents with its students and, in turn, encourages students to share their time, talents, and gifts from God now and throughout their lifetime.

Blessings and peace,
Tim DiLaura, Principal

Support St. Thomas!

St. Thomas the Apostle School depends on annual giving to offset the difference between tuition and the true cost of educating each child.  It is through the support and generosity of  alumni, parishioners, parents and friends of St. Thomas that we continue to provide a quality Catholic school education to our families.  An investment in the education of a child today, is an investment in a leader of tomorrow.  Thank you for your interest in learning more on how you can support St. Thomas!
