Mr. Andrew Pietryga: Kindergarten Teacher

I am very happy to continue my role as the Kindergarten teacher at St. Thomas. As a 2015 graduate from Eastern Michigan University, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with minors in Language Arts and Integrated Science. This is my second year teaching at St. Thomas, but the third year of my career. I am thrilled to continue sharing my passion, humor, and thirst for learning with the Kindergarten students of St. Thomas. I have been a parishioner of St. Thomas since 2015. My wife, Michele, and I were married at St. Thomas in December of 2016. We currently live in Pittsfield Township with our two black cats, Axle and Princeton, and our Betta fish, Winston Fishop. I spend my free time studying ancient history, listening to audio books (mostly about Star Wars or Catholicism), and riding bikes with my beautiful wife. As I continue to deepen my own relationship with God, I am excited to mentor the children in my classroom to explore their own relationship with God. Thank you for welcoming me into your community, school, and family. God Bless!
