A Spiritual Bouquet for Our Bishop
For the past 17 years, the Diocese of Lansing has been shepherded and served by our superb Bishop Earl Boyea. Out of gratitude for his long years of service, and to implore God to grant him every grace and blessing, the people of St. Thomas the Apostle are organizing a Spiritual Bouquet, a collection of prayers and sacrifices for this good and faithful servant.
A Spiritual Bouquet is a profoundly beautiful Catholic tradition, where we offer someone a collection of prayers and sacrifices for their intentions and sanctification. For example, “Four Rosaries, a reception of Holy Communion, and two days of fasting.” Offer as much as you are comfortable with–God will never be outdone in generosity, and even the smallest prayer offered with a loving heart brings forth many graces!
Our hope is to compile the Spiritual Bouquet in a hardcopy in time for the anniversary of His Excellency’s anniversary of consecration as bishop on September 13. You do not have to complete the offered prayers before then, but please click the button below and make your submission as soon as possible. Please also help spread this form to as many people as possible. Thank you and God bless you!
