Each summer, Canticle Chant Camp participants ages 8 to 18 are immersed in Gregorian chant, traditional children’s hymns, and the sacred music traditions of the Catholic Mass. They attend daily Mass and provide the music for a final Mass on Friday.
- Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:30 p.m. for the evening Mass, which starts at 6pm. Food to follow afterwards in the Parish Hall about 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Canticle Chant Camp was designed by staff from Canticle, a Catholic music organization devoted to passing down Gregorian chant to the next generation, assisting in nurturing the prayer life of children, and fostering a deep connection to the liturgical practices of the Church. The camp is run by Mary Ann Carr Wilson of Canticle in collaboration with St. Thomas staff and volunteers.
