Gabriele Berger: 5's Preschool Teacher

Hello! My name is Gabriele Berger, and I am so blessed to be joining the school as a preschool teacher this year. After being homeschooled for most of grade school and through high school, I graduated from Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College in Barry’s Bay, Ontario in the spring of 2018. While this is not my first time teaching in a school, I am so happy to have the freedom to share my Catholic faith in an explicitly Catholic school setting. I cherish the sense of wonder in children, and so look forward to being able to integrate that wonder with learning about God’s creation. Together, the children and I will explore the beauty that surrounds us in nature, begin learning how to communicate our discoveries with structured language, learn about order in the beginning concepts of mathematics, and, of course, how to relate to each other as people. I intend to create an environment that fosters the unique gift that each child is, and to provide the initial security every child needs as they begin the long and sometimes daunting journey of growing up and discovering their identity as Christ’s beloved child. I look forward to collaborating with parents in finding the unique way God is calling your child to be a Little Saint.
